The European Union also offers funding for many different kinds of cross-border research and development projects in the area of sustainable mobility. This way, future drive systems and progress in the development of mobility systems won’t be the only questions playing an important role in Horizon 2020.
However, the newcomer may often find the European funding system confusing, because of the sheer multitude of instruments and programmes. The Steinbeis-Europa-Zentrum offers an important service in this area. The Steinbeis-Europa-Zentrum offers a wide variety of advice and information services for various subject areas to help small and medium-sized enterprises and universities in Baden-Wuerttemberg gain access to European calls for proposals for funding.
e-mobil BW GmbH and the Steinbeis-Europa-Zentrum have together initiated the project “Internationalisation strategy for the leading-edge cluster Electric Mobility South-West” (INSEM-SW) in the framework of the cluster, Electric Mobility South-West. The project links up cluster partners from the areas of industry, science and research with specific cross-border project collaborations. This is how it paves the way for future European projects on electric mobility with partners from Baden-Wuerttemberg.
