Electric mobility Internationalisation
At Battery Show Europe 2026 in Stuttgart, Baden-Württemberg will be showcasing itself from Juni 9-11, 2026 as a high-performing hub for innovation and production within the European battery industry. For the first time, the state agency e-mobil BW and the Cluster Electric Mobility South-West are organising a joint stand in Hall 1, Stand A26. The focus will be on industrial applications, battery production, research collaborations, and international networking across the entire battery value chain.
A number of companies, research institutes and start-ups from Baden-Württemberg will be showcasing their technologies and solutions for modern battery systems, battery research and industrial scaling at the joint stand at Battery Show Europe in Stuttgart. Europe’s leading trade fair for battery manufacturing and battery technologies brings together international players from the automotive sector, the supply industry, mechanical engineering and research.
At the joint stand of e-mobil BW and the Cluster Electric Mobility South-West, visitors can explore the complete range of battery and electric mobility expertise in Baden-Württemberg, including materials research, cell technologies, production automation, software solutions, test systems and industry training programmes.
Exhibitors in the field of battery research and materials include the Center for Solar Energy and Hydrogen Research Baden-Württemberg (ZSW), the Center for Electrochemical Energy Storage (CELEST), Research Institute for Precious Metals and Metal Chemistry (fem) and the Institute for Sustainable Energy Technology and Mobility at Esslingen University of Applied Sciences.
Companies such as Bosch Rexroth AG, ERNST Umformtechnik GmbH, Hofer PowerTec GmbH, and Zorge Rubber Solutions GmbH will be showcasing their expertise in production and manufacturing.
In the field of test systems, charging solutions and software, Comemso Electronics GmbH, AMPLINK GmbH and AccuVice GmbH will present their innovations in battery analysis, charging infrastructure and digital diagnostic methods.
As European battery production increases, so does the demand for skilled workers in industry and research. The joint stand therefore focuses on initiatives that aim to secure the workforce and provide further training within the battery industry.
The QualiBattBW and mobilibees BW initiatives, alongside the Cluster Electric Mobility South-West will be showcasing further training and skills development programmes for companies and employees in the automotive and supplier industries.
As part of a nationwide meet-and-greet event, relevant players are discussing new training formats and developments in the skilled workforce within the battery and electric mobility sectors. The QualiBattBW project will also be providing information about its free learning modules on topics such as battery system technology, the circular economy, automated battery cell production, and industrial production processes.
Another key focus of the exhibition stand is international networking within the European battery and automotive industries. The Finnish automotive cluster Business Tampere – Tampere Automotive & Vehicle Technology Cluster is represented as an international partner directly at the joint stand. Together with the companies CeLLife Technologies and Celltech Solutions, potential areas for collaboration in the fields of battery technology, production and industrial applications will be presented.
In addition, international business delegations from France and Sweden will be visiting the joint stand. Guided tours will provide opportunities for direct dialogue between industry, research and European innovation networks. The highlight is an international networking evening organised by the 4 Motors for Europe under the motto “Powering Connections”. The aim of e-mobil BW’s international activities at the trade fair is to initiate new project partnerships and further expand cooperation within the European battery value chain.
As well as expert discussions and networking events, themed tours of the exhibition will cover topics such as raw materials and sustainable value chains for European battery production. Representatives from the worlds of politics, business and international networks will also visit the joint stand, including Nicole Hoffmeister-Kraut, Minister for Economic Affairs of Baden-Württemberg.
By exhibiting together at the Battery Show Europe, e-mobil BW and the Cluster Electric Mobility South-West are presenting themselves as leading platforms for innovation, technology transfer and industrial collaboration in the fields of battery technology and electric mobility.
